Fabiana D’Alba is a multi-talented humanist, specializing in black and white film photography. Born and raised in Caracas, her beginnings with photography started in 2000 with a Sony MAVICA, an early digital camera that used floppy disks for memory.

In 2005 she ventured into film photography with a Pentax Spotmatix and the next year, she spent a summer at the Columbia College Chicago studying film photography and darkroom processes. Her photography is known for its oneiric and anachronic contrasts, leaving the spectator in a profound state of reflection.

Professionally, Fabiana is a humanitarian worker with active experience in different countries. She has also contributed to environmental programs with indigenous communities in Gran Sabana, Canaima National Park, assisting in efforts to protect the biodiversity of tepuis.
